Golden State Warriors wing man Kelly Oubre Jr. has suffered a torn ligament in his left wrist as well as a break in the palm of his left hand, sources tell The Athletic's Shams Charania. Oubre will have further evaluations on his wrist, sources said, to determine whether he can continue playing through the injury.
Oubre has had ongoing issues with his shooting hand/wrist this season, including a sprain just before the All-Star break that has placed him in and out of the lineup since. Oubre re-aggravated his wrist on April 9, missed 11 days and returned for five games, attempting to play through the injury.
After averaging a career-high in points with 18.7 per game with the Phoenix Suns last season, Oubre has appeared in 55 games for Golden State while putting up 15.4 points and 6 rebounds per game. Heading into Saturday, the Warriors boast a 31-32 record, good for 10th in the Western Conference.
