LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's soccer team (2-2-1, 0-2-1 PSAC East) fell to West Chester Univerisity (3-0-1, 3-0-1 PSAC East), 4-0, in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division play on Saturday afternoon at Hubert Jack Stadium.

The two teams were locked in a scoreless draw for the entire first half as LHU goalkeeper Kylie Auman (Centre Hall, Pa./Penns Valley Area) made a handful of fine saves to keep the two teams scoreless.

West Chester and the Bald Eagles remained deadlocked until the 78th minute when some fine Golden Ram passing in the attacking zone set up the opening goal by Kaitlynn Haughey. With the one-goal lead in hand, West Chester went on to find the back of the net three more times in the final 10 minutes to take the 4-0 victory.

Auman did all she could in goal to keep The Haven tied. The freshman goalkeeper was forced into six saves on the day, including a fine double save sequence late in first half to keep the match scoreless.

The Bald Eagles registered four shots on goal, including one each from Evelyn Ciaccia (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsbury) and Taylor Moritz (Harleysville, Pa./Soudertown Area High), who each turned in notable performances for The Haven.

Next Up:
Lock Haven is back in action next Saturday (September 25) when the Bald Eagles host Bloomsburg. That matchup is scheduled for an 11 a.m. kickoff.
