ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Boise State recorded its best performance of the NCAA Albuquerque Regional with a 4-under, 284 final round, Wednesday.
 
The Broncos wrapped up their first postseason appearance since 1994 in 10th place at even par, 864 in the 14-team regional.
 
Skyler Eubank led the way in the final round with a 4-under, 68, including six birdies on the front nine and an eagle on his final hole. He finished tied for 10th at 6-under, 210. Mountain West Golfer of the Year Hugo Townsend carded a 3-under, 69 and finished tied for 15th at 4-under, 212.
 
Josh Gliege made four birdies as part of his 2-over, 74 final round to finish at 5-over, 221 and tied for 47th place. Max Charles got off to a slow start, Wednesday before playing even for the final-14 holes. He shot 3-over, 75, Wednesday and was tied for 55th at 7-over, 223 for the tournament. Joe Neuheisel made three birdies on the back nine to finish at 1-over for the day and 15-over, 231 in the regional. He finished tied for 65th.
 
"Skyler got off to a great start and played a great round," Boise State head coach Dan Potter said. "I am proud of our guys. They battled each round. I don't think anyone would say they played their 'A' game, but we made good shots. It was just little things that tripped us up each day and kept us on the outside looking in."
 
ROUND 1 RECAP
The Broncos shot a 1-over, 289 and were tied for ninth. Four Broncos made a birdie on the first hole and Boise State made the turn at 1-under.
 
On the back nine, Boise State played at 2-over. Neuheisel made an eagle on the par-4, 13th hole. Eubank made seven birdies and was tied for ninth after 18 holes at 2-under, 70.
 
ROUND 2 RECAP
Eubank opened with an eagle on the par-5 No. 1 and Townsend added a birdie to get Boise State off to a good start.
 
Four Broncos made the turn a par or better, including Gliege who was at 3-under with a bogey free front nine.
 
Boise State struggled on the back nine and was 3-over, 291 for the day to sit in 11th place at 4-over with 18 holes to play. Eubank was tied for 16th at 2-under while Townsend was tied for 24th at 1-under after a team-best 1-under, 71.
