WORCESTER - Police responded to a break-in at Wings Over Worcester at 1 Kelley Square in the early morning on Sunday, November 28, leading to the arrest of a local man.
At around 12:15 AM officers found evidence of a break-in and received information that an individual attempted to steal the cash register. Officers also received a description of a man who fled the business prior to their arrival.
Officers located a man, Jose Barbosa, 35, of Worcester, on Harding Street that matched the description provided.
During a search, the Worcester Police Department says officers located evidence linking the man to the business that was burglarized and reviewed video footage.
Officers arrested Barbosa, who faces charges of Breaking and Entering in the Nighttime and Attempt to Commit a Crime – Larceny.
