Broncos' Teddy Bridgewater drops a 44-yard dime for a TD to Tim Patrick - ESPN

ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Denver Broncos have spent much of the past six weeks lamenting the lack of big-play pop in their offense, but got what they've been waiting for in the second quarter against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater's 44-yard launch up the left sideline to wide receiver Tim Patrick was the Broncos' longest touchdown pass of the season. Bridgewater dropped the ball in and Patrick fell to the ground just inside the front pylon of the end zone. It was the longest passing touchdown of Bridgewater's career in terms of air yards (42).

The only longer touchdown play the Broncos have had this season was running back Melvin Gordon III's 70-yard touchdown run in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The score gave Patrick a team-leading four touchdown receptions on the season and gave the Broncos a 13-0 lead with 12 minutes, 13 seconds left in the first half.
