HARRISBURG, Pa. - Unemployment continues to fall in Pennsylvania.
The state's unemployment rate dropped by 0.1 percent in December, to a little more than 6.5 percent.
It's the eighth straight month of declines. However, the unemployment rate was higher than where it was in December 2019.
Non-farm jobs in the state were down by more than 37,000 last month after seven straight months of gains. That total now stands at more than 5.5 million.
