Contributed by Town of Clifton Park Supervisor Phil BarrettCLIFTON PARK — A water main break in Clifton Park has some residents and businesses without water and caused the closure of Carlton Road as public works employees and law enforcement officers were assessing the problem Sunday afternoon, Supervisor Phil Barrett said.
Barrett said he didn't know how long the road would be closed or how many residents were without water. But he said it's a large water main break and it has affected many people in the area.
"We're trying to locate the exact location of the break," Barrett said.
Until officials pinpoint the location, Barrett said, it's unclear how long water services would be interrupted.
