Guess he’s not so cheap after all.
Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce was spotted with Tampa Bay Buccaneers player Mike Evans living it up in a VIP cabana at the newly opened Summer Club in Long Island City on Sunday, spies told Page Six.
We hear that Kelce dropped more than $20K on bottles of booze and bubbly. We’re told he splashed out on 10 bottles of pricey Ace of Spades and six bottles of Don Julio 1942 tequila.
But that wasn’t all. He also left a generous $8,000 tip, a spy tells Page Six.
Rumors have flown that Kelce — one of the highest paid tight ends in the NFL — might be a bit tight with the purse strings, too.
There were rumors that he and his ex, Kayla Nicole, broke up because he made her pay for half everything during their five year relationship.
“According to rumors this doesn’t have anything to do with cheating, but more that Travis Kelce is a cheap bastard,” reported Barstool Sports. “In the 5 years they dated he apparently made Kayla Nicole split every bill, dinner, trip, etc. The intention was for her to prove she wasn’t just in it for the money and actually liked him.”
It is unclear if the couple have gone their separate ways, but Savage x Fenty ambassador Nicole has slammed the rumors as “absurd and very false.”
“Not sure where y’all got this nonsense from, but it’s absurd and very false,” she tweeted last month.
The couple was first linked in 2017 and briefly split in 2020. They reunited later that year. In March, she even recalled meeting Kelce for the first time when she took part in an “ask me anything” on Instagram and recounted how he courted her via social media.
The source at the newly opened rooftop pool tells us Kelce was “dancing and partying In the DJ booth.” And that he had such a good time, him and Evans “were the last [to leave] and requested the kitchen reopen for some chicken fingers.”
