On the night of Thursday, August 26, 2021, at approximately 11:15 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Athol Street for the report of a break and enter in progress. People were observed breaking a window to a vacant residence and gaining entry. Police arrived and located three teenage females trespassing in the residence, who were arrested and charged with break and enter.
Eighteen year-old Shalana Lois MCKAY, of Regina, and two Regina females, ages sixteen and seventeen, who will not be named in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, all face a charge of Break and Enter [CC 348(1)(A)].
MCKAY made her first appearance in Provincial Court today, Friday, August 27, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. The two youths appeared in Provincial Youth Court today at 9:30 a.m.
