The Formula E New York City E-PRIX was run on Saturday but days prior to that, driver Nick Cassidy showed up with his Envision Virgin Racing machine at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey with a challenge in mind.

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones and wide receiver Kenny Golladay were there to answer the bell.

In an episode of the NFL’s Game Recognize Game (tweaked from Game Recognize Machine), Jones and Golladay were pitted against Cassidy and his racecar in a series of athletic tests. The first challenge was the “hail mary.”

After barely missing on his first attempt, Jones dropped a dime right in the back of Cassidy’s moving vehicle on his second attempt.

“Nick helped me out there tracking the ball, but it was good. A good time,” Jones said modestly.

After Danny’s dime, it was Golladay’s turn. He took on Cassidy and his machine in the agility course and proved far more agile than his counterpart. Unfortunately, with a recorded 40-time of 4.05 seconds, the racecar was a bit quicker than the 6-foot-4, 214-pound wide receiver in their head-to-head race.

In the end, the team of Jones and Golladay tied Cassidy 2-2.
