"I will forever cherish being a part of the best team in the world with that group of guys!" Wright said. "We played as one, moved as one, and we were connected every step of the way."

From Year 4 to today, Wright covered many major milestones and challenges he overcame. From getting back up again after falling short of a title to making his first Pro Bowl, he covered it all. Wright became a father, traveled far and wide to places like Dubai and Kenya, and even attended Broadcast Bootcamp.

He recalled great stories like coming out with a win after one of the coldest playoff games in NFL history (-6 to be exact, with a -25 degree wind chill) at Minnesota in 2016. He was named the Seahawks nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in 2018 and came back from injury to post a strong comeback season in 2019.

Fast forward to 2020, K.J. Wright enjoyed one of his best seasons yet. The veteran linebacker posted 86 tackles, 10 passes defended, 11 tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, a forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries – and he did it all playing much of the season at strongside linebacker, a position he had not played since early in his career. Wright was also honored as the team's Steve Largent Award winner, presented to the player or coach who best exemplifies the spirit, dedication, and integrity of the Seahawks.

"I couldn't of imagined how great this 10 year journey would of turned out!" he said. "Hands down this was my best season yet."
