Peoria (WSIL)-- Similar to yesterday SIU started off slow trailing by 10 points after the first quarter. However SIU brought some fire, scoring 26 points in the second quarter to bring the game within 2 at the half.
The 3rd quarter proved to be the difference maker. Bradley shot a renaissance Coliseum record 63.8 percent from the field and 3 braves had 20 points or more.
SIU still struggled with points in the paint outscored by Bradley 42-26.
They were cleaner with the ball forcing 14 turnovers for Bradley SIU with 9.
3 salukis were in double figure Makenzie Silvey led with 17 followed by Payton McCallister with 15.
Bradley sweeps SIU 80-68.
Despite the loss SIU's Abby Brockmeyer scores her 1,000 point against the braves, just the 28th player in program history to do so
Up next SIU is back on the road taking on Loyola next Friday and Saturday with both those games on ESPN plus.
