Dozens of lawmakers, including more than a dozen senators, are still expected to raise objections to the votes.

Loeffler announced Monday evening that she would object to the Electoral College results, citing “real concerns” with the way the election was conducted. Loeffler and Perdue are squaring off with Democrats the Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, respectively.
Trump has claimed falsely that he won the presidential election while spreading unfounded claims about widespread fraud in the election. He has criticized senators for not forcefully backing his election claims, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell
