PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio — A water main break early Thursday morning has closed a section of Pearl Road, according to police.
The break had caused “significant damage,” police say, closing Pearl Road between York Road and Ackley Road as of 5 a.m. It’s unknown when the road will reopen, but it’s expected to remain closed through rush hour.
Police are encouraging drivers to plan ahead and use an alternative route until the road is repaired. The Cleveland Water Department was working on the break this morning, police say.
