About 30 community members strolled the streets of downtown Oakland Sunday, picking up garbage and taking time to view the murals that have sprung up on the boarded windows of businesses.
The Matter Out Of Place Clean Up and Art Walk event was organized by Urban Restoration as a way to keep Oakland beautiful and clean while taking time to view the many murals that have been painted in Downtown Oakland.
