Investigators want to talk to this man – they believe he may be connected to an overnight break-in on Saturday, Aug. 7 at approximately 1 a.m., at the Dairy Queen on US-31 North. County Sheriff’s Detectives say they believe he was a customer at the D-Q on Friday night, but came back later to break-in and steal cash from the business. Dq Breakin

Meanwhile, City Police believe the same person may be connected to a break-in at a Traverse City bakery the same night, where cash was also stolen. Sheriff’ Department Captain Randy Fewless says, “We’re also working with the Detective Bureau from the Traverse City Police Department. They also had a break-in downtown as well as two other attempts to businesses too. We haven’t had any since the date of this incident, but again, there were multiple businesses that were attempted. All in the same night within a few hours time frame.

“We’re wondering if the suspect might be from out of the area. Either that or visiting the area. So again it could be, we’re hoping the more exposure we could get for this case the better we’ll be able to solve it,” Fewless says.

If you have any information please call police.
